About the desk
One product, one currency, one date on every figure. PennySite exists because website-builder pricing is reported as a headline rate and lived as a renewal rate, and those are different numbers.
Why one product
A ten-way comparison gives every product a sentence and every price a cell. That format is fine for shortlisting and useless for deciding, because the things that determine whether you will be happy in year three — what renews at what, which features sit behind which tier, what you can take with you — need paragraphs. PennySite covers the Hostinger website builder and nothing else, so there is room for the paragraphs.
How the figures are produced
Prices are read off the vendor's own public pages in US dollars and carry the date they were read. Where an independent source contradicts the vendor, both figures are printed and attributed rather than the more convenient one being chosen — the template count is the clearest current example. Where something could not be confirmed on the day, the copy says so instead of rounding uncertainty into confidence.
There are no hands-on performance claims anywhere on this site. No load times, no speed scores, no benchmark tables for sites built with the builder. Those numbers are easy to publish and hard to produce honestly, and a figure nobody measured is worse than no figure at all. What you will find instead is assessment of documented capability and arithmetic on published prices.
The one rule
No introductory price is printed without the renewal price beside it. Not in a heading, not in a table, not in passing. This is enforced in the site's code as well as its editing: the component that renders a plan price emits the renewal row from the same loop, so there is no way to publish one without the other.
How the desk is paid
Through affiliate commission on some outbound links. It funds the work and has no influence on the score, the ordering or any figure published here — the least flattering number on the site is the renewal multiple, and it is printed in the largest type. PennySite is independent and has no relationship with Hostinger beyond being a customer of the public internet. If a price here is wrong, or has moved since it was checked, tell the desk and it will be corrected and re-dated.
